Robin Maxkii (Múhhecónnuck / Latin)

As a filmmaker, she started as a PA in her early teens, taking odd jobs ranging from set dressing in Baton Rouge to crafting props for a children’s game show set in a working Zoo, to even dayplaying on a Speilberg set out in Mystery Mesa. In College, she co-wrote/produced/narrarated a chapter of the Navajo Oral History Project, which is currently archived in the Smithsonian NMAI. She also directed the experimental minidoc Blood Quantum. After college, she concepted and wrote the animated short film Snowday which received over 27 million views on within 72 hours. She also wrote and co-directed the lauded This Is Indian Country: Democracy commercial spot, as well as penned the The Path, Manahattan, Manifesto, & Indigenous Everyday spots, among other work.

She is currently working on her debut feature Buffalo Speedway.
