Proud Mohican. Noted multi-disciplinary storyteller, pulling from a background of tech, film, activism, and art.

A former tribal college grad best known for creative tech things, before co-producing a documentary that’s been archived in the Smithsonian. My work has appeared everywhere from the NYTimes to Google’s homepage.

As a creative, my work includes the American Indian College Fund’s This Is Indian Country campaign, writing and concepting a shortfilm for Supercell that trended globally and garnered 27,000,000 views in <72hours.  Based out of Wieden+Kennedy, other work includes Trolli, Samsung, Fisher-Price (social), KFC, and Old Spice.

As a writer, I wrote a track for a visual album that Lizzo also appears on (and was shouted out in Billboard), authored the official Travel Oregon Guide To Indian Country, published various articles in academic journals.  My writing appears in former Senator Byron Dorgan’s book ‘The Girl in the Photograph’, Michelle Obama’s ‘Better Make Room’ campaign, and I penned an introductory speech for then-Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

As an advocate for Indigenous rights and equal access to technology for rural and underserved communities, I directed and organized the first Native American collegiate hackathon. My work was the subject of a Google documentary ('Between Worlds'; viewed 2.8million times). I’ve co-hosted a national PBS series sponsored by Microsoft and was invited to the Obama White House a few times. I am a regular participant in national conversations about technology access and Indigenous inclusion, including a panel at NASA Goddard, various major technology conferences and was invited to speak at the United Nations CSW on a panel as a “Woman in Tech Shaping Our Future”.
